This is ~kira-mcgrath, but since I wouldn't want anyone ever taking my true name, Kira Ani McGrath, I decided to make another dA account to protect my art/pen-name identity. I created my dA account ~kira-mcgrath before I made up my middle name, but I never thought to get a new account when I finally decided on a middle name just a few months later. And now, over 3 years later, I definitely don't want to move to a new account. I just don't want anybody coming along and stealing my name!

I guess, in theory, I should create accounts of every variation you could have of my name in order to really protect it, but that'd just be spammish. So I'm not gonna go there...

Plus, if for some reason I ever needed this account, now I have it. I could use it as a showcase of my best work... or, God forbid, I ever wanted/needed to start with a completely fresh account. I guess I could even put other work up here other than my usual stuff... like if I ever seriously got into photography or something. Well, hopefully everything will be well and good in any case.
